1- Installing the company’s clamshell equipment whether by the ship’s cranes or the free cranes, only to have these clamshells tightly installed, preventing any leakage.
2- Putting curtains with high density of polyethylene as soon as the ship docks and that is to cover the distance between the ship and the pier, to prevent the raw coal from reaching the sea water.
3- Putting hoppers which match the specifications and requirements of the EEAA.
4- Trucks go under the hoppers for loading, and they should be sealed tightly with a plastic tarp. Then, the coal loaded trucks can go out of the port’s gate to reach its storage place.
All of the above is done by an aware and highly trained team while taking into consideration their safety and personal protection.
1- Not to exceed the limits of the noise levels in accordance with supplement No. 7 from the implementing regulations of resolution 964 of year 2015.
2- Committing to the emission limits around the work environment and the safety factors for the workers in accordance with the supplement No. 9 from the implementing regulations of resolution 1095 of year 2011.
3- Committing to the soils stuck in the sea water in accordance with the environmental law No. 4 of year 1994 and its amendments, along with the implementing regulations of resolution 964 of year 2015.
4- Committing to applying for an assessment, managing risks and emergencies.
5- Committing to implementing the environmental management plan which includes the environmental self-monitoring plan.
Based on the above, Al-Fath Stevedoring has got the final approval on the integrated environmental project, which made her one of the few companies in Egypt that have this approval.
