So, this is for having all potentials, whether the equipment and machinery specialized in unloading the raw coal or having the people who are aware and trained to deal with the unloading processes of the raw coal, in accordance with the requirements of the ports’ authorities and the conditions of the EEAA.
The company has embraced the new directions for using the raw coal as an alternative source of energy for various investments and factories in Egypt.
Also, there is an increase in the amount of the imported raw coal.
Therefore, the company has started to work in the field of unloading raw coal since 2010.
Since the company first started to work in this field, it was keen to maintain the environmental
obligations and the conditions needed for the unloading process.
By 2015, some changes and sovereign decisions have occurred as regard to the use of the raw coal as an alternative source of energy.
Hence, the company’s management, led by the CEO, has started to put strategies and make workshops to be able to have the most adequate work plans with the sovereign decisions.
Accordingly, the company signed a contract with an accredited environmental advisory office to have a project that maintains the environmental situation for coal trading in Alexandria and Al-Dekhila’s ports.
As well as the Mekhtaf area in the port of Alexandria and Aladbya’s port, each on its own, and that’s because of the difference in the circumstances and environmental sensitivity for each port.
So, immediately, the company has started its project and adjusted its assets, as well as its current equipment. Also, it made new investments in new assets and equipment that would keep up with the needs and conditions of the EEAA.
Moreover, the project includes having the required environmental measurements, like testing the sea water samples, before and after the unloading process. Along with the measurements of the soil concentration and the emitted gas.
